Pokémon Presents Livestream Set for Tuesday: How to Watch, What to Expect

The Pokémon Presents livestream is scheduled for later today and will include Pokémon news and updates. The show may bring more details about Pokémon Legends: ZA, which will launch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in October. The show may also bring updates on Pokémon Champions, which was announced during the last Pokémon Presents airing in February.

Where to watch Pokémon Presents live

The presentation will air on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 6 a.m. PDT (6:30 p.m. IST). The live broadcast will be 24 minutes long, five minutes longer than the Pokémon Presents showcase in February.

What to Expect from Pokémon Gifts

The Pokémon Company held a Pokémon Gift Showcase on Pokémon Day this February, showcasing Pokémon Champions and sharing details about Pokémon Legends: ZA. The latest demo will be longer and will certainly bring more updates for the upcoming ninth-generation Pokémon game, which is set to release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on October 16. In a final reveal, the new Pokémon Legends: ZA trailer shows off the game’s Paris-style setting, Lumiose City.

In February, The Pokémon Company also announced a new Pokémon game for Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms. Pokémon Champions is a battle-focused game currently in development for Nintendo consoles, iOS, and Android. The game will likely reveal a release date during Tuesday’s event.

The show may also bring updates to Pokémon GO, Pokémon Unite, and Pokémon TCG Pocket. Although unlikely, the Pokémon Company may release a next-generation mainline Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The Switch 2 launched in June, but the hybrid console doesn’t yet have a healthy roster of first-party games. The 10th generation of Pokémon may be released as a Switch 2 exclusive. It’s also worth noting that 2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the iconic film series. Therefore, a new game may be developed for this purpose.
