Donovan Mitchell

Mitchell’s first-half scoring was key to Cleveland building a 20-point lead. Turns out they needed it because this Suns team never gave up. Mitchell’s control of the offense helped seal the victory for the Cavaliers.

Darius Garland
No. 19 Score, 6 assists, 1 rebound
Garland may officially return. He’s been playing like his old self over the past few weeks and getting the best out of the Cavaliers’ quarterback offense. It feels like the Cavaliers are buzzing every time he’s on the court. So glad he’s back.

Evan Mobley
16 points, 10 reboundss, 5 assists, 5 yuan
Mobley has been flexing his defensive muscles the past two games. He had three blocks against the Spurs and five more tonight. The return of the Defensive Player of the Year is a blessing for a team that previously had a shaky defense.

Sam Merrill
16 points, 1 assist, 1 rebound
As the Cavaliers found their groove, so did Merrill. He’s a perfect fit for Kenny Atkinson’s dynamic offense, hitting four 3-pointers against the Suns.

Jarrett Allen
16 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists
Allen is more active this week. He screens and rolls intentionally to either finish at the rim or pass and create an advantage.

Jaylen Tyson
18 points, 3 assists, 2 reboundsds
Tyson doesn’t lack for confidence. This “Marty Supreme” self-belief made Tyson a huge contributor in his first real season on the court.

Dean Wade
5 points, 2 assists, 5 reboundss
Wade has been looking like himself lately. He’s a borderline elite defender when paired with Cleveland’s two big men, and he’s a positive contributor on offense as well.

Craig Porter Jr.
2 points, 3 assists, 9 reboundss
Porter took Lonzo Ball’s spot in the rotation last game, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be back anytime soon. CPJ threw a nasty spinner to Jarrett Allen that exemplified everything he brings to the team as a backup point guard.
