Feb. 14—COLUMBIA FALLS — Bjorn Pedersen scored 16 points and Jory Hill scored 15 as Columbia Falls defeated Browning 50-38 on Thursday in Northwest A men’s basketball action. Ethan Brooks scored 8 points for the Wildcats, who trailed 33-27 with 1 minute left in the third quarter, but Pederson’s field goal with 6:45 left gave the Wildcats a 34-33 lead for good. Hill’s fast-break basket made the score 36-33, and Columbia Falls (12-4 overall, 8-2 Northwest A) made 10 consecutive free throws, of which Hill made eight.
