Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been treated for a concussion but is not expected to play in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Minnesota Vikings.
Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Love was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and that he has agreed to enter Thursday’s practice after suffering a concussion on Saturday, Dec. 20, in Chicago.

“He’s been exonerated,” LaFleur said Thursday.
With the Packers already clinched a playoff seed, LaFleur said Clayton Thune will start against the Vikings and that Love’s “intention” is not to play against the Vikings.
The Packers are still deciding who will be Thune’s backup against the Vikings. Malik Willis is dealing with shoulder and hamstring injuries, while veteran Desmond Reed was added to the practice squad on Wednesday. LaFleur didn’t rule out Love being the backup against the Vikings.
“We’re going through that process right now,” LaFleur said. “We’re taking it one day at a time.”

The Packers have clinched the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs and will face the Chicago Bears or Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC wild-card round next weekend.
In his third year as the Packers’ starting quarterback, Love started 15 games, completing 66.3% of his passes, throwing 23 touchdown passes and only 6 interceptions, and had a passer rating of 101.2. Under Love, the Packers qualified for the playoffs for the third consecutive season.
