SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The murder of Cassidy Rainwater has not been forgotten by Ozarks First anchor Bailey Stroll, who has covered the case from the beginning.
She wrote and produced the four-part documentary series “Moon Valley Road Murders: The Death of Cassidy Rainwater.” The first episode will premiere on Thursday, March 12. Watch the video above for a preview.
Ozarks First has spent years trying to piece together what happened inside a cabin along Moon Valley Road in rural Dallas County. But because the defendants never went to trial, key questions, including motive, remain largely unanswered.
Now, after requesting reams of records, Stroll has obtained a complete history of the investigation: thousands of pages of reports, hundreds of crime scene photos, body camera footage and hours of law enforcement interviews that ultimately led to the confession.
