A 27-year-old woman was in the car with Myers ordering food online around 9pm on Tuesday when Myers drove to a secluded location and allegedly attempted to sexually assault her.
When she resisted, Myers allegedly stabbed her multiple times and trapped her in the car to prevent her from escaping.
Investigators said the woman convinced Myers to let her go to a Walgreens pharmacy to buy emergency supplies, and store staff called police on her behalf.
According to officials, Myers fled the scene in his silver Honda Civic.

Law enforcement agencies in Oregon and California told Salem detectives they had received reports indicating Myers’ vehicle had been sighted. That’s when detectives learned Myers left Oregon and headed to southern California toward Bakersfield, police said.
After Salem police asked the CHP for help, the California Highway Patrol helped find and detain Myers.
Salem police said Myers was taken into custody without incident. He will be extradited to Oregon to face multiple charges, including attempted murder.
