STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Ebuka Okorie scored a career-high 40 points to lead Stanford to a 95-72 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday night, snapping a five-game losing streak.
Okoli made 12 of 21 shots, hit three three-pointers, and made all 13 free throws. He surpassed his previous high with 36 points in the Cardinals’ 95-90 victory over the then-No. 1 team. 14 North Carolina January 14.

Jeremy Dent-Smith scored 16 points for Stanford (15-9, 4-7 Atlantic Coast Conference), which shot 54 percent (33 of 61) from the field and 17 of 19 from the free throw line.
Stanford went on a 13-4 run in the second half to extend its lead to 56-43. Georgia Tech pulled within 62-55 with 11:26 left in the game but could not tie the game.
Akai Fleming scored 19 points to lead Georgia Tech (11-13, 2-9), which has lost five straight. Baye Ndongo scored 14 points and Jaeden Mustaf scored 13 points.
Georgia Tech ended the first half on a 12-5 run and tied the score to 43-39 at halftime. The Yellow Jackets shot 52 percent overall in the first half, but the Cardinals hit four more shots (7-for-16) from beyond the arc.
