COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Oluchi Okananwa scored a career-high 34 points and seventh-ranked Maryland rebounded from its first loss of the season with an 82-67 victory over Indiana University on Sunday night.
The Terrapins (15-1, 3-1 Big Ten) forced 16 turnovers in the first half while allowing just 17 field goal attempts and allowed just six in the second quarter. Indiana (11-5, 0-4) shot 65 percent from the field at halftime but still trailed 39-32 due to all those turnovers and Maryland’s control of the boards.
