Chiefs announce player departures

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the exit of goalkeeper Bontel Molefe, who will join Leicester City on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper rose through the club’s youth ranks and was promoted to the first team in the 2018/19 season.
However, Molefe is yet to make his senior debut for Chiefs and competition for a starting spot is fierce between the two teams.
Now, he is about to start a new chapter in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, eager to gain professional football experience and ample game time.
Molefe’s new club are ninth in the Second Division standings with 21 points from 16 games.
The goalkeeper will be keen to start when Leicester travel to relegation-threatened Midland Wanderers on Saturday.
