The Las Vegas Raiders informed star pass rusher Max Crosby that he will not play this Sunday against the New York Giants.
Although Crosby has been playing through injuries, he still has 10.0 sacks this season, along with 20 quarterback hits and a career-high 28 tackles for loss.

As for the Giants, they will be without left tackle Andrew Toma, who suffered a hamstring injury last week against the Minnesota Vikings.
Crosby is far and away the Raiders’ best defensive player and one of their best players at any position. The decision to bench star TE Brock Bowers comes on the heels of the decision to suspend him for a year.
While we wouldn’t say the Raiders intentionally underperformed on the No. 1 pick, they didn’t deny the accusations. The decision to close their best player certainly makes their path to the No. 1 pick that much clearer.
Maybe the Giants should counter by starting Mike Kafka at quarterback.
