ATLANTA (AP) — Tis De Reed scored 22 points, Malik Thomas scored 17 and No. 14 Virginia beat Georgia Tech 94-68 on Wednesday night for its seventh straight win and eighth straight on the road.
The Cavaliers (23-3, 11-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) led 42-9 in the first 13 minutes and 24 seconds. Virginia led 59-27 at halftime, its largest lead in ACC play since February 2001.

Jaeden Mustaf scored 18 points for Georgia Tech (11-16, 2-12). Baye Ndongo had 13 points and 8 rebounds. The Yellow Jackets have lost eight straight.
Virginia shot 36 of 79 from the field and 14 of 37 from 3-point range. Georgia Tech shot 24 of 64 from the field and 4 of 19 from 3-point range.
Cavaliers forward Devin Tillis had six points and a rebound before leaving the game in the second half with a lower-body injury.
