Nintendo Switch 2 Game Upgrade Pack Prices Revealed Ahead of June 5 Debut

The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in a few days, and the Japanese video game company has revealed the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade pack for users in various regions, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Players who purchase these upgrades will have access to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. Some packs add improved graphics, resolution, and frame rates to these games, while other packs can provide new content alongside these improvements.

The two most expensive Nintendo Switch 2 upgrades currently available for pre-order are Super Mario Party: The Party (and the Party TV expansion) and Kirby and the Forgotten Lands (and Kirby). Each piece is priced at $19.99 (approximately Rs. 1,700).

Switch 2 users can also purchase upgraded versions of Rune Factory: Guardians of the East and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar for $10 (approximately Rs. 850) each. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII upgrade costs $9.99 (approximately Rs. 850).

Nintendo will sell Switch 2 upgrade packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, both priced at $9.99 (approximately Rs. 850). Players with a Switch Online membership will have access to both packs at no additional cost.

The company previously confirmed that it will offer free upgrades for several existing games when the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5.

Users who already own a copy of ARMS, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Game Builder Garage, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Mario 3D World, Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be able to get upgraded versions of these games for free.
