San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk remains in one of the most difficult positions in the NFL.

When Aiyuk was in his prime over the past few years, he was one of the best receivers in San Francisco.
Unfortunately, he struggled with injuries and made decisions off the field that many disagreed with. Aiyuk, who did not play a game for the 49ers a year ago, is still on the roster, but he is expected to be traded in the near future.
Others don’t think it needs to go that far. Instead, he should do the right thing in San Francisco and apologize for what he did wrong.
“If I could give Brandon Aiyuk advice, I would tell him to go to work,” Mike Garafolo said. “I would have told him a couple weeks ago to go to work. Go see if they would let you work out and run and do things in their facility.

“If you get injured, all of a sudden those coverages come back and your money is back on their books. He didn’t do that. He didn’t do that.”
For any NFL team looking to trade him, Aiyuk will definitely need to get back on the field. The problem now is that the 49ers certainly won’t get anything in return, unlike a few years ago when they could move on from him before paying him.
He’s currently on a four-year, $120 million contract, so he has a lot of incentive to get something done in the near future.
