The NFL issued five tickets for violent gestures in Week 13, and Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf was one of the unfortunate few to receive a penalty.
Metcalf, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and running back Bucky Irving, Las Vegas Raiders CB Kyu Blu Kelly and Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins were fined for violent gestures. Fines ranged from $5,722 to $14,491, with Metcalf, Mayfield and Collins receiving the highest amounts.
During a tough Week 13 loss to the Bills, Metcalf celebrated with a finger gun and imitated a shot, something the league has cracked down on in recent years.

Metcalf wasn’t the only Steelers to be punished by the NFL in Week 13, with linebacker Peyton Wilson and veteran Cameron Heyward both receiving hefty fines last Sunday.
