People love conspiracy theories.
Football fans are no exception.
Among the conspiracy theories surrounding the NFL, the “Super Bowl Logo” conspiracy theory is the most important. When the logo for next year’s Super Bowl is released, fans will delve into the colors, trying to decipher which two teams are destined to advance to the big game. It’s a conspiracy and we detail it here SB Countryfirst in 2024, when fans thought the Kansas City Chiefs would face the Seattle Seahawks (the Chiefs faced the Philadelphia Eagles), and then before last season, when the logo left room for interpretation.

However, now that Super Bowl X has been confirmed, we have a new conspiracy to consider.
Thanks to the NFL for this opening night post:
Your eye is immediately drawn to Saquon Barkley standing right up front representing the defending Super Bowl champions. Then you have players like Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson who are expected to lead their teams deep into the playoffs.
But look at the two players at the front of the field, closest to Levi’s Stadium.
Two quarterbacks, Drake Maye and Sam Darnold, will play in Super Bowl LX.
Of course, two teams, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, have worked hard to get to the Super Bowl. New England (which benefited from a relatively easy regular-season schedule and was unlikely to break through the triple defense in the postseason) became the first team to advance to the Super Bowl after losing 13 games last season. Darnold and the Seahawks had to win three tight games against the Los Angeles Rams to clinch a berth, and did so with perhaps the best game of the quarterback’s career in the NFC Championship Game.

Additionally, this might be the most unlikely Super Bowl pairing in history, at least based on the odds. according to pro football reference This is the first time in league history that two teams have preseason odds of 60-to-1 or worse in a Super Bowl:
As mentioned before, the combined odds for this pairing before the season started were 4800-1, which was lower than the Super Bowl XXXIV odds between the Rams and Tennessee Titans.
However, if you believe in conspiracy theories…
Then this game is already doomed.
The NFL’s recent response to the original post has left many wondering what to believe.
If nothing else, expect the image to get even more attention on opening night next fall.
