(WKBN) – Nearly 800 power outages were reported around the Valley Monday morning.
In Mahoning County, there are nearly 250. In Trumbull County, there are more than 250.
As of 8 a.m., there were more than 150 outages in Columbiana County and more than 100 in Mercer County
All power should be restored in all counties by 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to FirstEnergy.
FirstEnergy said in a statement released Monday morning that they are preparing to address outages caused by the severe weather through Tuesday.
They added that high winds will make it difficult for crews to operate bucket trucks, so they encourage people to charge their phones, have a flashlight on hand, stock up on bottled water or fill a bathtub (if you rely on well water) and avoid downed power lines.
To report an outage, call (888) 544-4877, text OUT to 544487 or click the “Outage” link at firstenergycorp.com.
