Selection Sunday has arrived, and both Clemson basketball programs are waiting to know where their postseason journeys will begin.
The Clemson men’s team will discover its NCAA Tournament destination during the Selection Show airing Sunday at 6 p.m. on CBS. Later in the evening, the Clemson women’s team will also learn their playoff standings when the women’s bracket is revealed on ESPN at 8 p.m.

For Brad Brownell’s team, the expectations are clear: Clemson appears firmly on track to make the NCAA Tournament this year.
The Tigers enter Sunday’s Selection with a 24-10 record and have been in recent bracket projections. Currently, multiple outlets have Clemson as an eighth seed, which will be a challenging road once play begins.
ESPN’s latest projections have Clemson as the eighth seed in the West Region, set to face Villanova in a first-round game in Tampa, Florida. The same group also includes top-seeded Florida State and the winner of the First Four game between Kennesaw State and Prairie View.
CBS Sports released a similar prediction, also naming Clemson as an eighth seed. In this scenario, the Tigers will face No. 9 seed TCU in the first round. The group also includes No. 1 seeds Arizona and UMBC.

Another national outlet, USA TODAY Sports, also has Clemson as an eighth seed. According to projections, the Tigers will land in the West Division as part of several strong teams expected to make deep strides in the tournament.
Clemson’s resume helps the Tigers stay in the projected spot going into Sunday’s selection.
The Tigers have a NET ranking of 34th and have been competing against top opponents all season. Clemson is 6-6 in Quad 1 games and 7-4 in Quad 2 games. Against lower-level opponents, the Tigers handled the game consistently, going an undefeated 11-0 against Quad 3 and Quad 4 teams.

That balance has helped Clemson remain solid in most bracket projections over the past few weeks.
Now, the only thing left is the official bracket reveal.
