Quadir Copeland led NC State with 28 points and six assists in the game. Jordan Pope tied him with 28 points for Texas (18-14), which made five more free throws and made eight more free throws than the Wolfpack in that game.
Statistically, these teams look similar. North Carolina State averages 83.7 points per game, 7.2 points more than its opponents. The Longhorns average 83.8 points per game, which is 7.0 points higher than their opponents.
Both teams struggled in the closing stages. The Wolfpack are just 3-7 over their past 10 games, while the Longhorns are 5-5.
