MVP signs titlists Tiara Brown and Oshae Jones, four others

Another day, another batch of quality female boxers joining the most valuable promotion’s roster, as Jake Paul’s team announced the signings of featherweight champion Tiara Brown, super welterweight champion O’Shea Jones and four others.

Former world amateur champion Brown (20-0, 11 KOs) scored the biggest win of her career to date last March when she defeated Australian Olympian Skye Nicholson in hostile territory to capture the WBC title. She’s had one fight since then, when she outpointed Emma Kongora (no relation) at a club show in Houston in September, but now finds herself in a fight with Amanda Serrano, one of the better fights women’s boxing has to offer right now.

“Signing with Most Valuable Promotions is a huge moment in my career,” Brown said. “Every step from my amateur roots to becoming a world champion prepared me for this level. I earned it all through discipline and consistency. Now I can showcase that experience and championship mentality on a global stage as an MVP.”

The 28-year-old Jones (9-0, 3 KOs) won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics after losing to Beniya in the semifinals. The following year, she turned pro and won the IBF belt after seven fights, defeating veteran boxer Femke Hermans via split decision. In her only fight of 2025, she scored another split decision, this time on BoxRec. 2 Elia Carranza, July.

“Every step from winning an Olympic medal to becoming a world champion with two belts has prepared me for this,” Jones said. “With the support of MVP, I’m ready to compete on the biggest stage and continue to build my legacy.”

Box Record No. 11 Super Flyweight LeAnne Cruz (11-0, 1 KO), No. 9 Super Featherweight Elise Soto (10-0, 9 KO), No. 9. 23 lightweight contender Miranda Reyes (8-3-1, 3 KOs) also joins the roster. “I chose MVP because they not only put women in the spotlight, but they took the lead in putting us in the spotlight,” Polka said. “Looking at their performances with Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner and others, I saw their incredible commitment to ensuring female boxers get the attention they deserve. While I am extremely grateful to everyone who has supported my journey thus far, joining MVP gives me a platform to represent my country on the world stage and help take Brazilian boxing to a whole new level.”
