A makeshift main event was set up for the March 4 episode of “AEW Dynamite”, with Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis challenging the Jet Set Rodeo for the AEW World Trios Championship, following a challenge from Don Callis. Kevin Knight had already had a match with MJF earlier in the night, and the AEW World Champion wanted to send a message to Hangman Page before their match at Revolution, costing him, Knight, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey the trio’s gold.
With Knight and Page pulling double duty, Bayley and Fletcher started the match in the ring while the other four fought outside. After Bayley was attacked by Davis, the Don Callis family would take control, and that would change when Page would join in, as his match earlier in the night lasted about eight seconds. The Jet Set Rodeo started the match with some triple-triple action, with Page, Bayley, and Knight hitting corner punches, but after Page and Bayley jumped to the outside, Knight got tangled in the ropes, and Fletcher threw him first out of the ring into the guardrail ribs as the match went to a commercial break.

The challengers worked extensively on Knight and his injured ribs during the break, but Okada became a little overconfident after the commercial break as Knight hit flying clotheslines in an attempt to catch Bayley or Page. However, the Don Callis family regained control. It took Bailey’s interference to create enough distance for Knight to catch up with his JetSpeed partner, who immediately took out Fletcher and Davis. Bayley did his best to keep Fletcher and Davis at bay and hit Okada with a roundhouse kick to the head, knocking Okada out of the match.
Page followed and nearly got the win after hitting Davis with a Sharpshooter, but the match was broken up. Bayley continued to attack Fletcher in the air and Page continued to take down Davis, then stalked Knight and tried to hit a buckshot lariat/UFO splash combo, but MJF suddenly ran down and distracted the champ. He attempted to attack Page with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, causing Knight to miss Davis and roll right into the arms of Okada, who hit him with the Rainmaker before Davis hit the exhausted Knight with a Gut Wrench Piledriver for the win. When the show went off the air, the Don Callis Family stood tall in the center of the ring as the new AEW World Trios Champions.
