That said, they’ll be losing three key contributors: Miles McBride, Mitchell Robinson and three-time All-Star Jalen Brunson.
They started the first quarter with a sense of urgency and outscored Memphis 48-30 in the first frame.
Despite trailing in the third quarter, the Knicks took control again in the fourth quarter to end their four-game road trip with an 11-point victory.
New York finished with five players in double figures, three of whom scored 20 or more points.
OG Anunoby scored 25 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal.
Karl-Anthony Towns had a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

Mikal Bridges also impressed with 24 points on 9-for-15 shooting.
Wednesday’s game was a milestone for Bridges, who has been one of the league’s most reliable players since entering the NBA before the 2018-19 season.
Bridges moves up to eighth all-time in consecutive games played, passing journeyman Andre Miller.
Among the top eight, Bridges is the only player to have finished in the top eight consecutively in the past 25 years, which adds an additional layer of difficulty to the achievement.
With the win, New York extended its lead over the third-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers now trail New York by a game and a half with five games remaining.
