Microsoft has announced that it will launch an Xbox Partner Preview later this week, where third-party developers will showcase a range of new and upcoming games. The Partner Preview event will air on October 17 and will include the latest from studios like Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and more. Microsoft has confirmed that the show will showcase gameplay from Alan Wake II’s upcoming expansion, as well as a new trailer for Yakuza: Pirates of the Dragon in Hawaii.
Xbox Partner Preview Details
Microsoft said in an Xbox Wire post on Monday that the partner preview broadcast will last about 25 minutes and include more than a dozen gameplay trailers. The showcase will provide the first look at gameplay for Lake House, the upcoming Alan Wake 2 expansion. A new trailer for “Dragon: Pirates Like a Dragon” will be released in Hawaii in February 2025, and the boss of the Souls-based action role-playing game “Wuchang: Fallen Feather” has also been confirmed.
The broadcast will also feature multiple world premiere trailers, reveals of new games, fresh gameplay, and release date announcements for upcoming games.
The Xbox Partner Preview will air on Xbox’s YouTube and Twitch channels on Thursday, October 17 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST (10:30pm IST).
The last Xbox Partner Preview aired in March, with third-party developers providing updates for games such as Uncharted 9: Awakening, Legend of Kenzira: Zau, and Persona 3: Reloaded. The event also showcased new games for The Sinking City 2, Creatures of Ava, Monster Jam Showdown and Sleight of Hand.
In June, Microsoft held a packed Xbox Games Showcase to announce a slew of upcoming first-party games. The showcase showcased the next Gears of War games, Doom: Dark Ages and Perfect Dark, and provided the latest information on released games such as Indiana Jones and the Circle, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, South of Midnight, and Avowed.
