Microsoft has announced the first batch of games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass in August. Games included in the game subscription service include Creatures of Ava, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. Action-adventure game Creatures of Ava will launch on Game Pass on August 7, with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy joining the service a day later. Microsoft previously confirmed that “Mafia: Definitive Edition” will be added to Game Pass on August 13.

“Creatures of Ava” is developed by Inverge Studios, allowing you to play the explorer Vic and embark on the adventure of Ava. The planet has four different biomes, each with its own flora and fauna. Players can tame more than 20 wild animals, learn Ava’s secrets, and save the planet from a growing infection.
Creatures of Ava was announced for PC and Xbox consoles earlier this year and will be added to Game Pass when it launches on August 7.
Last month, a reliable source claimed that Xbox Game Pass would be adding the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in August. The game is now confirmed to be joining the service on August 8th. The trilogy includes remasters of the first three Crash Bandicoot games – Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Twisted.
Finally, “Mafia: Definitive Edition” will be available on Game Pass on August 13th. Microsoft confirmed late last month that the third-person shooter would be joining the service soon. Hangar 13 is a remaster of the 2002 classic, built from the ground up to add new assets, an expanded story, new vehicles, a soundtrack, and more.
Microsoft also announced that games that will exit Game Pass on August 15 include “Airborne Kingdoms,” “Offworld Trading Company,” “Shadow Warrior 3” and “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.”
Last month, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” joined Game Pass on July 24, becoming the first COD game to be launched on Game Pass. Modern Warfare 3 is currently free to play on Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate.
