Meghan is reportedly turning her star power into huge commercial success, with nearly one million jars of her lifestyle brand of fruit spreads said to have been produced, and plans are underway to take the business global.
This week, online users discovered an apparent technical vulnerability on the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever website, which briefly exposed internal stock levels.
The discovery sparked a debate on Reddit, with some users initially interpreting the massive inventory data as evidence that product sales weren’t going as expected.
One product in particular, the signature fruit spread gift box, appears to show that more than 137,000 pieces are still available. But according to a new report, that number actually represents the remaining balance from the original production of 1 million cans.
At £31 ($42) per gift box, revenue from this single product line would be approximately £26.7 million ($35.9 million).
A source familiar with the brand’s performance said demand was unusually strong, saying: “I think it’s fair to say that the business has not only been successful, but sales have been very strong.”

Inventory data became visible after a user attempted to add an unusually large number of items to their shopping cart, causing the website to display a maximum inventory limit.
The method was reportedly first discovered by a Reddit user who attempted to add 200,000+ products at once, sparking a wave of copycat attempts.
Screenshots shared online showed hundreds of thousands of lifestyle products including spreads, teas, honeys, candles and edible garnishes in circulation, as well as tens of thousands of bottles of wine linked to the brand’s drinks business.
If accurate, these numbers indicate production well beyond what many would consider a “low-volume” operation.
Shortly after the news spread, the website was quietly updated. Purchase caps were introduced to limit the quantity a customer could order per order and to close inventory loopholes.
Attempting to add too many quantities now returns an error message or prompts to contact customer support for bulk purchases. The company has yet to publicly address the issue.

In a recent interview, Meghan admitted that she is significantly increasing production as she prepares to expand the brand beyond the United States.
She explained that early sales repeatedly exceeded expectations, forcing the team to scale up quickly.
What started as discussions about producing a few thousand units quickly escalated to ordering a million jars, a milestone she describes as “an incredible thing for any small business and any start-up.” Bloomberg’s “Circuits.”
Sources say the mass production is part of a wider international rollout strategy. With strong holiday sales and continued demand, insiders believe inventory will need to increase further once the brand enters new markets.
However, despite the eye-catching revenue figures, Meghan is unlikely to pocket all the profits. Industry insiders pointed out that the proceeds are shared with business partners including Netflix, with a large portion also being reinvested in expanding the business.

Meanwhile, new news suggests that Meghan will publish her first book for adult readers in 2026, although it won’t be a memoir.
Instead, sources say the Duchess of Sussex is preparing a cookbook inspired by her Netflix series Love, Meghan.
The project is described as lifestyle-focused, centered around food, hosting and daily entertainment rather than personal storytelling.
The book is expected to feature some approachable recipes, including her “one-skillet pasta,” “rainbow-themed fruit salad,” and her signature jams and marmalades.
It may also include practical advice on hosting from home, a subject that has played a central role in her recent television work.
