SEATTLE (AP) — Matt Olson hit a go-ahead homer in the ninth inning and Bryce Elder pitched six strong innings and the Atlanta Braves beat the Seattle Mariners 3-2 on Tuesday night.
Maurico Dubón had a two-run double and Ozzie Albies extended his hitting streak to 17 games, tying a franchise record. He tied for the league lead with 47 hits.

Dylan Lee struck out in the seventh, Robert Suarez (3-0) struck out in the eighth and Raisel Iglesias, who recently returned from the injured list, recorded his sixth save for the league-leading Braves.
Elder got his sixth quality start in eight games. He allowed two runs on two hits and gave up a two-run homer to J.P. Crawford in the fourth inning. He lowered his ERA to 2.02, fourth in the National League.
Olson hit his 300th home run in Monday’s 5-4 loss, becoming the 166th player to reach the milestone. He hit No. 301 in the top of the ninth, pushing a slider from Andrés Muñoz (3-3) 412 feet for a single to give Atlanta a 3-2 lead.
Olson batted .308 with a 1.077 OPS and led the NL in home runs (13) and RBI (33). The Atlanta native hit 159 home runs with the Braves after spending his first six seasons with the Athletics.

George Kirby pitched seven innings for Seattle, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out five. Three of those hits came in the fourth. Albies and Olson each singled and then scored on Dupont’s two-out double down the right field line.

LHP Martín Pérez (2-1, 2.22 ERA) started for the Braves in Wednesday’s series finale, and RHP Bryan Woo (1-2, 4.61) pitched for the Mariners.
