Marjorie Taylor Greene Tells ’60 Minutes’ That ‘It Would Shock People’ to Hear How Congressional Republicans Talk About Trump in Private

In Sunday’s preview 60 minutes On CBS, Leslie Starr Greene was asked whether Republicans supported Trump because they were afraid of him.

“I’m asking you for this near-solid support [Trump] Starr began. “Is there fear in this support?” Are they offering support because they fear they will receive death threats? Starr asked.

“I think they’re afraid of crossing the line and making hateful posts on The Truth Society, yes,” Green said.

Starr: They’re watching what’s happening to you.

Green: Yes.

Starr: Behind the scenes, are their stories different?

Green: Yes.

Starr: What to do?

GREENE: Oh, this is going to be shocking.

Starr: Well, let’s shock people.

GREENE: Well, I watched many of my colleagues go from making fun of him, making fun of the way he talked, making fun of my support of him, all the way to him winning the primary in 2024. They all started – pardon my language, Leslie – patting him on the butt and decided to put on a MAGA hat for the first time.

In another video, Greene said Trump warned her that releasing Epstein documents “will hurt people.”

“We did discuss the Epstein documents,” Green said. “He was very angry with me because I signed the discharge petition and released the documents. I completely believe these women deserved everything. They asked for everything to be released. They deserved it. He was very angry with me.”
