Anthony Robinson: game status
Robinson hailed by talkSPORT as “One of the best full-backs in Europe” Being tied to the London company until June 2028 gives them a strong bargaining position in potential deal negotiations.
Unfortunately for United, the United States international is thought to be leaning towards a move to Liverpool, who are also interested in taking him.
Such an expected move would see Robinson return to Merseyside, where he spent 11 years in Everton’s academy before signing for Wigan Athletic in 2019.

However, he left without making a single appearance for the Blues, so he may not be worried about tarnishing his reputation among Hill Dickinson fans by joining their bitter rivals.

Why Manchester United and Liverpool want Robinson
United have identified Robinson as the right man to eventually replace the injury-prone Luke Shaw at left-back and provide cover while Patrick Dolgu moves into a more attacking role further up the pitch.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also in the market for a replacement for Andy Robertson and someone who can compete with Milos Kolquez for the foreseeable future.
