Lavoie has been plagued by injuries since joining from Southampton in the summer of 2023 for a fee of up to £58 million.

The 22-year-old has made just 30 appearances for the Blues and has yet to play a full 90 minutes for the club.
Romeo Lavia’s rehab program coming to an end
Lavia has made just seven appearances this season and has been sidelined since suffering an injury against Qarabag in the Champions League in November.
Ravia was initially expected to be out for at least a month, but it has now been more than three months, although his return appears to be getting closer.

Liam Roniol confirmed that Lavia has returned to training, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Belgian is nearing the end of his detailed rehabilitation program.

It is also believed that Lavia has been using state-of-the-art virtual reality technology to help improve his game, particularly in midfield scanning.
Chelsea looking for new midfielder in summer
Despite Lavia’s imminent return to action, Chelsea are believed to have made signing another midfielder a priority this summer.
The Blues are reportedly hoping to lighten the load on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, but are unable to do so given the injury problems of Lavia and Dario Esuguo this season.

Chelsea have been linked with Elliot Anderson and Adam Walton, although they are expected to face stiff competition from other clubs.
If Lavia can stay fit, it will help Chelsea tremendously, and it’s unclear if the Blues are looking for a starter or someone to play a role in the squad.
