Lucky Grahak Yojana, Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana: How to Check if You Won

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced two new schemes, the Lucky Grahak Yojana for retail consumers and the Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana for small businesses, to promote digital payments in India. The winner will receive at least Rs. 1,000 through lottery – Winners of the Lucky Grahak Yojana will be selected on a daily and weekly basis, while the winning merchants of the Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana will be announced on a weekly basis. Both schemes were launched to incentivize citizens to use cashless payment methods and will run until April 14.

In order to participate in Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana, you need to make digital payments through any of the following modes: UPI (Unified Payments Interface), RuPay, AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) and USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Services Data). Users using other cashless payment modes such as e-wallets, debit and credit cards will not be eligible for Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana rewards. Furthermore, to be eligible for the Lucky Grahak and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana rewards, you have to transact between Rs. 50 rupees. 3,000. Those purchasing more than Rs. 3,000 people will not be eligible for incentives under the program.

If you make digital payments using any of the four approved digital payment modes, you can check whether you have won rewards under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana.

How to find out if you are winning under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana

Follow the steps below to see if you win under Lucky Grahak and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana.

  1. Visit https://digidhanlucky.mygov.in/ website
  2. Depending on whether you are a consumer or a merchant, click the corresponding button
  3. In the next box, provide your mobile number registered in your UPI/USSD/RuPay/AEPS account
  4. You will receive an OTP which you have to enter into the box that appears in the middle of the screen
  5. Click the “Try your luck” button
  6. The next message will show whether you won under Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana

If you have made a payment through the above approved methods but received a “No information available” message, you can provide more details such as your card number (RuPay), VPA (UPI transactions), Aadhaar number (AEPS) and mobile number (again) (USSD payments).

Lucky Grahak Yojana Rewards

Under Lucky Grahak Yojana, 15,000 consumers will get Rs. 1,000 per day; the weekly bonus will be worth Rs. 1 Lakh Rs 10,000. 5,000 and will be distributed to 7,000 consumers. The mega draw on April 14 will have a prize of Rs 10 lakh. 1 Crore, 50 Lakhs, 25 Lakhs. The government will announce 100 winners for USSD payments, 1,500 winners each for UPI and AEPS transactions, and 11,900 winners for RuPay.

Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana Rewards

Every week 7,000 merchants will win Rs. Rs 50,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 5,000. From December 25, 2016 to April 14, 2017, 2,500 entries will be drawn each week. The mega draw will be held on April 14 with prizes worth Rs 2,500. 50 Lakhs 25 Lakhs 5 Lakhs.
