LSU 4-star QB commit Peyton Houston lands invite to Elite 11 Finals

The 2026 Elite 11 regional tournament is well underway, with the coveted quarterback competition making its fifth stop on Saturday. Several top passers are heading to New Orleans to compete for an invite to the Elite 11 Finals.

Only one invitation can be made in “The Big Easy,” which is awarded to four-star Cotton Valley (Louisiana) Evangelical Christian College Peyton Houston After a great performance at the New Orleans Saints practice facility.

He becomes the fifth quarterback to be invited to the event, joining the following teams: Four-star Brady Edmonds (Ohio State commit), three-star Braylon Warren (Missouri), four stars Karim Hughley (Clemson) and four-star Trey Taylor (Nebraska).

For a high school quarterback, there is no higher honor than being invited to compete in the event, which will celebrate its 27th edition in 2026. The event brings together 20 of the nation’s elite signal-callers for three days of competition and training in Los Angeles in June.

Elite 11 alumni include college and NFL stars such as Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebowand recently Trevor Lawrence, CJ Stroud and Bryce Young. Last year’s Elite 11 finals featured 16 of the top 25 quarterbacks. Competitor Industry Rankingwhich includes five of the top six players at the position.
