Blake Gideon, who will serve as the Texas football safeties coach from 2021 to 2024, has only been at Georgia Tech for one season as defensive coordinator so far. But clearly, Texas is the better option in the near term compared to Georgia Tech and the steadily declining ACC (with the slight exception of Miami football this year, of course.)
