Arne Slott’s side turn their attention back to the Premier League today and will seek to move into the top four overnight if they can beat the Seagulls, whose improved form has seen them win three of their last four games.

Liverpool were dealt a serious injury blow in the 24 hours or so before this game, with Mo Salah and Alisson Becker both ruled out, and the goalkeeper’s subsequent Instagram posts suggested he would not be returning to action anytime soon.

Slott made two forced changes to the squad for the midweek win over Galatasaray.
Giorgi Mamardashvili takes over from Alisson between the posts, with the back four in front of him unchanged, including Jeremie Frimpong, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Milos Kerkez.

The midfielders are also repeating from Wednesday night, so it will be interesting to see if Ryan Gravenberg, Dominic Szoboszlai, Alexis Mike Allister and Florian Wirtz are deployed on the diamond again.
Salah was replaced in the forward position by Cody Gakpo, who played alongside Hugo Ekitike.
Freddie Woodman, Andy Robertson and Joe Gomez round out the experienced backbone of a young bench that includes Leo Ngumoha, Kieran Morrison, Trey Nyoni and Calvin Ramsey.
