A Liverpool star has opened the door to leaving the club in January.
The Reds’ roster is already thin, so they really can’t afford to lose any more players. But according to a recent report, one player is willing to leave the club this month.

Currently, Arne Slaughter is working hard to build a balanced and cohesive team. He lost a lot of key players and struggled with the smaller squad he had.
We think Jurgen Klopp prefers to field a ‘squad’. Then the preference for Slot seems smaller.
Slott rotates his squad less than Klopp and often uses a maximum of 15-16 players.
This approach works if everyone is healthy, available, and at their best. However, we are starting to see that this is not always the case.
Liverpool’s poor form coincided with a series of injuries that left Slott’s side reduced to the bones.

Now it could be cut down to something even smaller, as Nicolo Schira reports that Federico Chiesa has opened the door for a return to Serie A.
According to reports, Juventus, Roma and Napoli are all interested in the Italian striker, with Liverpool offering him a price tag of 12-15 million euros.
That’s roughly the same amount they’ll pay for him in the summer of 2024. But while the move may make sense from a financial perspective, it makes no sense for Liverpool to sell him as they now desperately need him.
Without Chiesa, Liverpool lose a suitable No. 9 backup option behind Hugo Ekitic.

Currently, Alexander Isak is out due to injury and will be out for a long time in the future. Unless Liverpool plans to buy another attacker, it is impossible for them to let Chiesa go.
To do that, Slaughter would have to use Will Wright or Jaden Dance from the academy. They are all exciting talents and highly regarded.
However, are they ready to step into such big shoes and compete week in and week out? The answer to this question makes no sense. You won’t find out unless you throw them into the abyss.
The question then is, what do you really want to do when you’re still fighting for a Champions League spot in the Premier League?
The answer has yet to be revealed.
