Liverpool just need to sign the next Luis Diaz and he is one of a kind.
Signing players from the Portuguese league rarely works out. Unless, of course, that player is a sensational Colombian star.
When Liverpool signed Diaz from Porto, it was clear they were getting a generational player.

Diaz is a bit like Liverpool’s Marmite. But it is undeniable that he played a crucial role in the Reds winning two League Cups, reaching the Champions League final and winning the Premier League title.
It was only in his absence that Liverpool fans realized how important he was to Arne Slott’s side.
Diaz’s directness, pace and relentless energy are something Liverpool will really miss this season.
At the same time, he dominated the Bundesliga and became one of the most important players in Bayern Munich’s exciting season.
Normally, when it comes to signing attackers from the Portuguese league, it’s an idea you shouldn’t really consider if you’re from Liverpool. Unless, of course, that player is a huge outlier.

Diaz is one of those players. Darwin Nunez is another man who doesn’t get the credit he deserves for his Anfield career.
The club’s former sporting director Julian Ward, who is still employed by Liverpool and knows the market well, should now have an idea of Porto’s next Diaz.

17 years old. He has shown incredible pace and directness, scoring two goals and assisting once in his last three games in Portugal’s top flight.
Pituszewski is only a few months younger than Leo Ngumoha, but has already made over 60 first-team appearances for Polish side Jagiellonian and Porto.

Signed by Porto in the January transfer window, he has made a very good start, similar to Diaz.
In just 319 minutes playing for Porto, Pituszewski has contributed 4 goals, averaging a goal or assist every 79 minutes.
He is a good one-on-one winger who likes to play on the left wing. But what really stands out about Pietuszewski is his desire and work rate.
Like Diaz, he is a relentless runner who likes to press high and drop deep to help his full-backs and defence.
He earned an incredible four tackles in the last game against Benfica and has averaged 7.57 defensive duels per 90 for Porto so far – an incredibly high number for an attacker.
