Liverpool decided to loan out several players last summer.
To be fair, not all have been successful – the likes of Harvey Elliott, James McConnell and Lewis Coomas have all struggled to make an impact.

It has even been suggested that the trio could return to Anfield as early as January – either by agreeing a deal elsewhere or, in Elliott’s case, reintegrating into the first-team squad.
Jarosz joins Ajax under Heitinga
Vitezslav Jaros, 24, also appears to have found nothing after joining Ajax alongside McConnell last summer.
The Czech goalkeeper has agreed a one-year loan deal with the Dutch giants without an option to buy. He was expected to become the Eredivisie side’s new number one goalkeeper, but he was dropped from the squad following a series of mediocre performances.

Jarosz moved to Ajax to work under John Heitinga, who serves as Arne Slot’s assistant manager at Liverpool during their run to the Premier League title in 2024/25.
Jarosz delivers breakthrough for Ajax
But his tenure as Ajax manager lasted only 15 games – Throwing the futures of Jarros and McConnell into chaos. While the midfielder failed to regain his place in the team, Jarosz went from strength to strength.
The goalkeeper has played a key role in Ajax’s resurgence under interim coach Fred Grimm – having featured in Ajax’s last three Dutch top-flight games and their last two Champions League games.
Jaros once again replaces veteran Remko Paswell – a nice response to being initially replaced under Heitinga.
