Most believe Mohamed Salah’s departure from Liverpool will happen in the next year or so.
In fact, some fans even think that he will choose to follow after the contract expires.
However, this was not to be the case and Liverpool chose to spend huge sums on new players in an attempt to reaffirm their status as the best team in England.

Again, that’s not really what’s happening, as the club are currently in contention for a Champions League spot and find themselves in fifth place.
This lack of form has all but forced the Reds into the transfer market in search of new players, with two interesting options now emerging as potential replacements for the Egyptian king.
Jarrod Bowen or Dario Osorio could join Liverpool as replacement for Mohamed Salah
Replacing Salah will obviously not be an easy task for Arne Slott and Richard Hughes.
Despite the attacker’s poor form this season, Liverpool are still struggling to find players as good as him.

That’s why the club is considering a number of different options, with most fans probably thinking either Jan Diormande or Bazoumana Toure will fill the void.
However, over the past few days, more links have begun to emerge, with Jarrod Bowen and Dario Osorio now actually being considered as potential options for the Anfield side.
A report from DaveOCKOP details that Bowen is now a name Liverpool are “watching” this summer.
The online outlet details that even if West Ham are not relegated, the 29-year-old could still be an option for the club.

The Reds need someone who can hit the ground running upon arrival, and that’s exactly what Bowen gives them.
In Osorio’s case, the link emerged on talkSPORT , with the player himself admitting that Liverpool are interested in signing him.
“My agent tells me when there’s real interest, and to be honest, I don’t really follow social media on those topics,” he said.
“As I said before, I have always dreamed of playing in the best stadium in the world against the best team.”
Compare Jarrod Bowen and Dario Osorio and decide who is the better choice
Although Bowen and Osorio are both impressive transfers for Liverpoolif Slott wants him to come in and replace Salah immediately, it feels like there can only be one winner.

Osorio is a good option as a long-term replacement, however, with the Reds needing someone to come in and help take the pressure off the shoulders of Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, Bowen is a player Liverpool should sign.
He already has many years of Premier League experience under his belt, having contributed 19 goals in all competitions despite the Hammers finishing 17th in the league.
He has played across the front three this season, but his preferred position is on the right wing and that is the gap they need to fill.
And if the Reds’ injury crisis continues into the 2026-27 season, the Englishman could step in for Isaac if needed.
