Very close to Gravenberg!
Florian Wirtz was lovely with his feet as he danced freely in the box and passed to Gravenberch. But he faced some pressure and his efforts were off target.

Santiago Bueno pulls one back!
Liverpool looked sloppy at the start of the second half and they were punished. After a good attack by Wolves, they were awarded a corner kick. The ball was clipped in and Arrocodar’s header was saved by Alisson, but the rebound went straight to Santiago Bueno, who finished the shot. 2-1. Has the game started?
Wirtz scores Liverpool’s first goal!
Ekitek had a lot of space and he put Wirtz in the middle and shot. The German midfielder kept his cool and scored his first goal for Liverpool. What a wonderful moment for him. Anfield explodes!
Gravenberch scores!
Jeremie Frimpong was outstanding on the right, dribbling past several players before cutting back perfectly to Gravenberch before finishing with a low shot. Liverpool finally takes the lead!

The wolves stand their ground
At the end of the half, the Wolves made several counterattacks, and Mane scored with excellent skills. This is just a warning sign for Liverpool.

Liverpool vs Wolves Preview
Isaac came on as a half-time substitute and gave Liverpool the lead after just 11 minutes, but he also suffered an injury during the game. Isak has undergone surgery and while there is no official timetable for his return, he is expected to be out for at least a few months. Fortunately for Liverpool, Hugo Ekitic is the more productive (and healthier) striker signed this summer (eight Premier League goals, one goal) and is more than capable of leading the defense himself. But it greatly reduces Slaughter’s attacking depth, with Mohamed Salah already out for international duty next month and Dominic Szoboszlai suspended for Saturday’s game.

This could be Liverpool’s best time against Wolves, the last team without a win in the Premier League with just 2 points from 17 games. The Wolves are expected to break all sorts of unpopular records this season, which is bound to happen when you have the league’s worst offense (nine goals scored) and the league’s worst defense (conceded 37 goals).
Liverpool vs Wolves prophecy
Even if Liverpool suffers injuries and absences, anything short of a comfortable home win would be the shock of the season. Liverpool 3-1 Wolves.
