The Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders are expected to complete trades involving two players, including edge rusher Marquez Crosby.

Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine’s trade proposal would send Crosby to the Lions and cornerback Terrion Arnold to the Raiders.
The hypothetical trade would also give Las Vegas the No. 17 pick in April’s draft and a 2027 second-round pick:
“Still, the Lions make a lot of sense as a team that has lost its competitive drive. Dan Campbell’s team seemed to disappear from the spotlight as time went on. The pairing of Crosby and Aidan Hutchinson puts them back in the spotlight. This will ultimately give Crosby a powerful bookend while getting the Lions back into the NFC conversation.”
Acquiring Crosby would take the Lions defense to the next level and put Dan Campbell’s team in Super Bowl contention.

The pass-rushing duo of Crosby and Aidan Hutchinson will be unstoppable and will mask other weaknesses that Detroit may have on defense.
Trading Crosby would cost the Lions premium draft capital and a player, and Arnold could be the player Las Vegas wants. The young cornerback will only play eight games in 2025 due to a shoulder injury, but when healthy he is a solid starter and will only get better.
However, giving up Arnold and getting a game-changing player like Crosby is a no-brainer for the Lions. Crosby is one of the best players in football and has had double-digit sacks in three of the past four seasons.
Despite all the trade speculation, Crosby will likely remain in Las Vegas this season, but if he does request a trade and is moved by the Raiders, the Lions should be the preferred landing spot, especially if Detroit fails to re-sign breakout edge rusher AlQuadin Muhammad in free agency.
