For a while, it seemed like the silliest part of Inter Miami’s game against Ecuadorian champions Valle Independiente was that both teams were wearing black jerseys.
Then some fans at Puerto Rico’s Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium decided it was their time to shine.

Miami ended its international series with a 2-1 win, but the game ended in chaos in the 89th minute after multiple fans flooded the stadium. The first one is topless. The second and third were wearing Lionel Messi jerseys, one from Miami and one from Barcelona, and naturally wanted to take a selfie with the superstar.
Unfortunately, as security surrounded Messi, the first intruder grabbed Messi from behind, causing both men to be tackled to the ground. Messi quickly stood up and looked unhurt, just angry.
As you can see, the chaos isn’t over yet:
This all happened after Messi scored the winning goal in the 70th minute.

The friendly match was originally scheduled for February 13, but was postponed after Messi suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season. Inter Miami chose to reschedule the game after losing 3-0 to Los Angeles FC in their Major League Soccer (MLS) season opener.
The event is organized in partnership with the Government of Puerto Rico. If Miami chooses to return, you’d imagine it would insist on stricter on-site safety measures.
