Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given the latest injury news for six of his squad’s players, including Declan Rice, David Raya, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard.
Ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Brighton, Arteta said at his pre-match press conference that “I hope” Rice can start against Chelsea.

The midfielder asked to be taken off during the second half of the Gunners’ 2-1 win over the Blues but is now feeling “much better”.
Still, Odegaard has questions. He was unable to play against Chelsea at the weekend due to a knee injury sustained against Brentford in February.
A decision on Havertz’s involvement will be made at a later date. The playmaker came on as a substitute against Chelsea as he recovers from a muscle injury.
Raya, meanwhile, is “all going well” after dealing with a niggle that sees Ben White unavailable and Max Dowman returns from an ankle injury and is in contention after playing for the U21s.

Asked which Arsenal players could play against Brighton, Arteta replied: “Especially Kei. He has done part of the training, so we have to wait and see if he can play and then see how he is.”
“Martin is a different guy. We’ll see. We’ll have to wait and see if he feels comfortable taking certain actions.”
Regarding Rice, he added: “He was much better today. We haven’t really practiced yet because we only have two days to prepare for the game, so hopefully he will be better tomorrow.”
