Kroger will close all of its Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Dayton stores early Sunday evening in response to the winter storm.
A Kroger spokesperson told the Inquirer that stores in the area will close on Jan. 25 at 6 p.m.
The spokesperson said Kroger plans to reopen with regular business hours on Monday, Jan. 26.
“The safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority,” the spokesperson said.

Tonight, as the winter storm moves from west to east out of the Cincinnati area, the National Weather Service says another 2 to 3 inches of snow is ahead.
The weather service warned that the trailing edge of the storm has yet to arrive. There will be more consistent and heavier snowfall locally between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Cincinnati and Hamilton, Butler and Clermont counties will have a snow hiatus between 7 and 9 p.m.
