GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Kaitlyn Duhon scored 14 points, Harissoum Coulibaly added 11 and Khady Leye’s go-ahead layup with 5.2 seconds left lifted 15th-seeded Auburn to a 50-49 victory over 10th-seeded Texas A&M in the first round of the SEC tournament on Wednesday night.

Leyer had 11 points and 15 rebounds for the Tigers (15-16). She fouled on the previous possession, which sent Janae Kent to the free throw line by Texas A&M with 11 seconds left. Kent hit two shots to lead 49-48.

Laye went through the screen and drove to the basket for a shot. The Aggies didn’t have enough time to make the shot they wanted, and the last attempt failed. It was the Tigers’ first playoff victory over the Aggies and ended Texas A&M’s five-game winning streak.

Ny’Ceara Pryor led the scorers for the Aggies (14-12) with 25 points.
