Stone Cold Steve Austin was last seen at WrestleMania 41, but his most recent return to the ring was at WrestleMania 38 Game 1, where he successfully defeated Kevin Owens. While Austin isn’t outright rejecting a return appearance, how realistic would it be to see “The Diamondback” compete in this year’s Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia?

“Well, I mean, he’s Stone Cold,” former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Kevin Nash said on his “Kliq This” podcast. “You give that motherfucker enough zeros – you can’t get that motherfucker into the desert with less than 10; I guarantee you… you give Stone Cold Steve Austin $10 million… he’s going to give you[6 to 8 minutes]”.

However, Nash pointed out one factor that could be a deal breaker for the alcoholic WWE Hall of Famer.

“Well, they’re not going to let him throw a beer. They’re not going to let him drink a beer in fucking Saudi Arabia,” Nash noted, since Saudi Arabia has strict alcohol laws. “Could it be a hell of a night to market Michelob Ultra Zero? Come up with a new sponsor… They were the sponsors of last year’s NBA playoffs.”

It remains to be seen whether Austin will return solely for the Royal Rumble where he can work in a safer, faster-paced environment, however, news sources are not convinced that this will ultimately happen.
