The conclusion of the 2026 NFL Combine means one step closer to the NFL Draft, which will be held April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. NFL scouts and media draft analysts are busy dissecting the results of the combine and film of the 2025 college football season.
Joel Klatt, one of the most knowledgeable members of the college football media, recently released his top 10 offensive players for the 2026 draft class. His top two picks are largely unanimous, with Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza and Notre Dame running back Jeremiah Love at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

Then, Oregon Ducks tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who was preceded by two offensive tackles and wide receivers, essentially locked up the No. 1 tight end spot in the draft. Sadiq is well deserved at No. 7 on Kratt’s list, as he will likely be drafted in the top 15 after a strong performance at the combine.
Sadiq performed better than at least one NFL Pro Bowl running back or wide receiver in every agility testing drill, impressing the football world and significantly boosting his draft stock. But it wasn’t just his athletic frame and measurements that stood out.
The 6-foot-3, 241-pounder, a 2025 Mackey Award finalist, caught 51 passes for 560 yards and a nation-leading eight touchdown catches at tight end. The way the Ducks are using him gives people confidence that he can be used across the board in the NFL, which is what a highly drafted tight end needs.

When seeing Sadiq’s entire body of work, it’s not hard to imagine him being a real difference-maker at the next level and deserving of being one of the highest-ranked offensive players in the entire draft class.
