Kash Patel Confirms UFC Fighters Will Train FBI Agents This Week, Calling It A “Historic Opportunity”

Just weeks after celebrating their gold medal win in Italy with the U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team in the locker room, FBI Director Kash Patel is celebrating what he considers another athletic milestone.

“I am pleased to announce this historic symposium between the FBI and UFC in Quantico,” said Patel in a statement released by the UFC today. “This is a great opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with some of the greatest athletes on the planet, helping world-class law enforcement agencies be better prepared to protect the American people.”

This training will provide an in-depth understanding of UFC fighters’ training methods as well as fighting techniques and tactics. The event will be held March 15-16 at the FBI Special Agent Academy in Quantico and is open to “academy students as well as senior FBI personnel from around the world.”

Patel first floated the idea during a conference call with the heads of the FBI’s 55 field offices shortly after taking office last year.

UFC CEO Dana White is a long-time supporter of President Trump, having spoken at the Republican National Committee in 2024 and at Trump’s victory rally in 2025. The two also announced a UFC fight at the White House on Trump’s birthday.
