Turin-based newspapers confirmed that Liverpool are only willing to discuss a permanent transfer, while the Bianconeri hope to agree a preliminary loan deal.

This means that the Bianconeri are willing to offer Chiesa a six-month loan deal with an option to buy, which will become an obligation to buy if the 28-year-old reaches a minimum number of appearances in the second half of the season.
Italian sources claim that Chiesa is open to a return to Turin in the January transfer window, with Tuttosport reporting that the winger has recently contacted some of his former teammates at the Allianz Arena to gain information on the structure of the new club, which has changed dramatically since he left the club in 2024.
