The “View” host was so disgusted by Attorney General Pam Bondi’s testimony before Congress this week that Joy Behar issued a warning to her on Thursday morning. According to the ABC host, Bondi “should have been smart enough to know” that President Trump would eventually betray her.
It was a hot topic for the talk shows all day Thursday, and to kick things off, they reviewed some of Bundy’s testimony. During Wednesday’s hearing, Bundy angrily insulted members of Congress, complained about the president’s treatment and more. But it was her passionate defense of Trump that confused the women of “The View.”
“She needs to understand that she’s talking to Trump when she’s there. She’s not talking to anyone else, and he’s known for throwing you under the bus,” said Joy Behar.
“And when he stepped down, he real Honey, I’ll throw you under the bus. I don’t know how you know her,” Behar continued, turning to co-host Ana Navarro, “but she should be smart enough to know that, and he does this to everyone. “
In fact, Navarro reminded viewers early on that she met Bundy when the attorney general was just the attorney general of Florida.
“This is very disgusting and disappointing to me personally,” Navarro said. “I knew her in Florida and she was someone who worked with everyone and was friendly. Watching her perform, like a high school version of Lady Macbeth, was unacceptable and a show she put on for Trump.”
