José Ramírez has been a member of the Cleveland Guardians since 2011 and is expected to one day be immortalized in Cooperstown alongside baseball’s greats. However, this past weekend, the seven-time All-Star signed an extension with Cleveland through 2032, further solidifying his status as one of the greatest players in franchise history.

As far as this episode is concerned baseball bat-b-actorJake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman talk about the deal that would keep Ramírez with the Guardians through his age-39 season. The six-time Silver Slugger’s extension, while surprising, is not a shock given his love for Cleveland. But when his contract is up, will he be considered the best player in Guardians history?

Later, Jordan and Jack broke up a trade between the Texas Rangers and the Washington Nationals that sent 26-year-old Mackenzie Gore to the nation’s capital in a package deal. The Rangers hope Gore can live up to the super prospect he once was, so how important will his continued development be to the Rangers winning this deal? The guys then discuss MLB Network’s 100 best players in 2026 and what changes they’ll make to the roster.
