It’s the first time Denver has won together with its opening lineup since mid-November. The Nuggets have lost six of 10 games in the All-Star break, and head coach David Adelman is taking a cautious approach to workload as players return to the lineup.
Jokic grabbed his 10th rebound with 4 minutes and 14 seconds left in the third quarter, completing his 187th career triple-double. This is the 15th time this season he has had a triple-double before the fourth quarter.
The Rockets made 4 of 33 three-pointers and trailed 40-22 in the third quarter. Kevin Durant only scored 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting, his fewest shooting attempts this season.
The Nuggets led by 6 points at halftime and led 82-63 at the end of the third quarter.
