Taylor’s base salary in 2025 is $19,500,000, according to Spotrac.com. Kansas City also paid Taylor $4,725,000 in signing pro rata, $2,666,666 in restructure pro rata and a $500,000 workout bonus.

Overthecap.com reports that Taylor’s total salary cap hit for the 2025 season is $27,391,666. His salary represents 9.81% of the Chiefs’ total cap space.

Next season, Taylor will receive a base salary of $19,500,000, in addition to a prorated signing bonus of $4,725,000, a restructured prorated of $2,666,667 and a $500,000 workout bonus.

Kansas City’s front office will also have an opportunity to move on from Taylor. If the Chiefs release Taylor in the 2026 offseason, they will free up $20 million in cap space.
